You will actively support our rapidly growing international team in commissioning the controls equipment of automated material handling and storage systems at our customers' sites and experience at first-hand how our systems come to life. Based on deadlines, costs and quality, you will take care of a timely ramp-up and implementation of the specified system performance.

 

Tasks:

 

  • On-site commissioning of automated conveying and storage systems

  • Compliance with the general and operator-specific security procedures

  • Supporting the OnSite manager / team

  • Performing system tests

  • Support for the programming of PLC controllers for conveyor systems and stacker cranes

  • Training of customer personnel

  • Troubleshooting and identify potential improvements

  • Hotline support in technical matters

 

Requirements:

 

  • Completed professional training in a technical trade, preferably in electronics or mechatronics or comparable qualification

  • Good team player

  • High degree of willingness to travel (up to 80%, mainly in Europe)

  • Stress resistance, flexibility, reliability

  • Experience in dealing with PLC controllers, preferably Siemens Simatic S7, beneficial

  • Very good command of German

  • Ideally, good command of English
