PASTRY CHEF (m/f)

If you have confectionery skills and are tempted to work in a dynamic team in one of our confectionery laboratories, you are invited to join our team as a PATRY CHEF (m/f), whose responsibility will be:

• Performing all operational tasks and work required for a smooth and high-quality performance of the pastry shop, and in particular preparing and producing confectionery, pastry and ice cream;

• Caring for a responsible and efficient use of foodstuffs and resources necessary for work;

• Participating in the preparation of proposals for menus, the composition of menus and calculations for confectionery in accordance with norms and standards;

• Participating in ordering, accepting and storing foodstuffs in accordance with standards;

• Preparing pastry according to the principles of healthy nutrition, and by incorporating modern trends in the pastry shop;

• Caring for the cleanliness and orderliness of work spaces;

• Providing for a sweet stay for the guests;

Conditions for obtaining the position:

• at least secondary vocational education in gastronomy (confectioner),

• knowledge of the Slovenian language and/or English language, desirable knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Italian and/or German and/or Russian

• work experience in a comparable position (desirable international experience in a pastry shop)

• excellent knowledge of foods, recipes, ways of preparing desserts

• mastery of confectionery skills
