What are you going to do? You help Senior and Lead Engineers with the design of the machines. You provide input, help in the design phase and ensure that you learn from the 'experienced seniors' in the profession every day. You use your technical knowledge to accurately estimate purchase prices and you use your insight to calculate man‐hours. You work together with one or more technical drawers, whom you manage for the detail engineering yourself. You have enough variety, because you are deployed both internally and externally on challenging projects within the heart of the Dutch High‐Tech Industry in the North‐Brabant/Limburg Region. You also help with: - keeping the technical purchase file up to date; - organizing the project documents. You are: - A highly motivated Mechanical Engineer who wants to become better at his/her job every day. - You want to learn every day and find on a daily base new solutions for various issues. - You go for your opportunities at FMI ImProvia, because you want to grow and prove that - you are ready for the big work! Furthermore, you always keep an overview and we are never surprised during projects thanks to your extensive preparations. Because you were already well prepared for all possible scenarios. And most importantly: no one ever has to put you to work, because you have always started already by your independence. We would also like to see the following on your resume: - A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics. - 3 to 7 years of experience in project engineering and machine construction. This means you have a knowledge of designing, detailing and assessing various machines. - You are experienced with various CAD programs such as Inventor, SolidWorks, Siemens NX or AutoCAD. In this role it’s important that you are prepared to relocate and live in the Netherlands (North‐Brabant region) FMI ImProvia can support on the ‘paperwork’ and support in getting in touch with housing companys in the region.
