Become a part of our Product Management team in the Heat/Cooling Division

Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturer of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our products and focus massively on development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Because of an increased demand for our innovative and intelligent solutions worldwide, we are looking for a Pricing Manager with focus on strategic pricing.

With direct reference to our Head of Product Management, you will become a part of our Heat/Cooling Division which is focused on delivering high quality solutions and services that creates transparency and reduce water and energy losses. In the newly establish position as Pricing Manager you will be responsible for defining, planning and executing strategic pricing projects and initiatives with the purpose of improving product and service profitability.



Pricing Manager with focus on global pricing strategy

As our new Pricing Manager you will be responsible for analyzing competitor pricing and matching this information with relevant market insight with the purpose of determining the ideal target price for products and services on specific markets. Furthermore, you will be supporting our product management team creating value propositions, as well as, providing your inputs to strategic marketing activities.

More specific you will be responsible for:

  • Join a Strategic Pricing Project to improve our pricing strategies based on market insights, including competitive situation, market position, value propositions, account types and classification
  • Building pricing competences in the product management team
  • Initiate and track pricing initiatives to improve profitability, win-rate and volume
  • Kamstrup’s reference prices
  • Support the product management team by defining value propositions and pricing during new product development
  • Provide your inputs to strategic marketing activities

To succeed with this, it is important that you master the complexity of multiple markets, products, services, solutions, customer segments and value propositions and transfer this into simple operational methods and tools.

Personality matters

You must be able to take leadership in your field and motivate, train, and engage others to ensure commitment. You are outgoing and a strong communicator and you have the ability to build positive relations and communicate clearly to relevant stakeholders. You have an analytical mindset and can draw conclusions from large datasets and a commercial understanding and experience in pricing products that can ensure profitability.

You hold a Master’s degree within finance, economics or similar. In addition, it is a requirement that you have minimum 3-5 years of experience from a similar position in a global B2B business or in a leading consultancy firm. From your experience you have gained solid knowledge within pricing and complex analysis. In addition, it is a requirement that you have experience with:

  • Developing global & regional pricing strategies
  • Building a product management pricing responsibility
  • Pricing in an international organization

You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.
