As housekeepers you are responsible for the cleanliness and general order of the hotels common areas and guest rooms. With 49 unique rooms and suits in different size and shape, attention to detail, strict routines, structure and training is needed to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
We operate with a high end classic and personal service. You will be working individual sections and cleaning 8-10 rooms per shift depending on room category. We have large common areas and the rooms are spread over three floors without elevator. Common areas are original from 1894, rooms are quite small but with modern standard and vintage interior.
In addition to cleaning the housekeeping department does turn down service in all rooms every evening. Making the beds ready for the night, offer a little treat and setting the room in order for a good night’s sleep.
You need to be comfortable and appreciate flexible working hours and varied tasks, and enjoy working in a high tempo environment.
Most of the communication in the hotel is in English, but to know Norwegian is of course a plus.
The position is seasonal until October 15th.
Hiring date is from 15.04.2024 until 8.10.2024
