You will work within a team of two providing updates to the delivery manager.
The client’s network is at high capacity and does have an average of 3 blockages for every K/M of cable in the ground require the team to complete a minimal amount of 4 blockages a day and the team need to reinstate the works to an excellent standard to avoid local authorities serving defects . • Understanding job packs
• Work as part of a 2-person team to install the core fibre network infrastructure using various fibre count cables
• Repair blockages – Main function
• Rodding and roping, will be a requirement
• cable pulling • Will be a requirement
• Carry out area surveys and risk assessments •
• Provide daily updates on work completion
• Arranging collection of stores in line with weekly work schedules
• Understanding signing, lighting & guarding requirements as per NRSWA specifications to ensure your site set up is compliant
• Reading and understanding BT Duct diagrams. – Training available
• Understanding the A55 process to be compliant to PIA standards
• The production of SLD’s on successful completion of tasks along with the creation of accurate A55 documents using Planpoint application or similar – Training available
• Providing updates on daily progress reports through the client mobile APP taking supporting photographs for authorisation of payments
• Working unsupervised in teams of two.
• Adherence to Solutions30 UK Limited Health and Safety policies at all times.
• Working with the Field Based Build Manager to progress the deliver in line with project plans.
• Driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
• Civils’ avoidance techniques which may be unblocking drains

Preferably you will hold a NOPS card and be accredited in the following:
• NRSWA Operative
• S7 - PIA Subduct and cabling installation or K08 UG Cabling
• SA001 - Safety Overground
• SA002 - Safety Underground
• S7 - PIA Sub-Duct and Cable Installation
• S8 PIA overhead cable installation
• N26 - One Fibre Network in the Underground
• N28 One Fibre Network Cabling in Underground Network.
• Confined Space medium risk (for manhole cabling works only)
