As we increase our testing rate, test coverage and test methods, it is evident that more automation of testing is required: Design and maintain LabVIEW-based applications to support testing operations Design and maintain TestStand-based applications to support testing operations Software testing, quality assurance and benchmarking Performance tuning, improvement, usability, and automation Full life cycle software development Create and maintain software development standards Evaluate new systems, technologies, and architectures to reduce development time, increase reliability, and to streamline operations Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment

you need:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science required, or at least 10 years of work experience with software development will be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree

 

Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) certification or must have at least 5 years of LabVIEW development experience

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

 

Advanced LabVIEW development skills strongly preferred

 

Experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP)

 

Experience using test instrumentation and control components

 

Understanding of basic computer networking (TCP/IP, UDP, firewalls) is essential

 

Ability to learn new skills/programming languages/application quickly (Databases)

 

 

 

Demonstrated ability in the design of large LabView applications; ability to develop software

 

Ability to create intuitive graphical user interfaces

 

Ability to implement and troubleshoot National Instruments hardware

 

Ability to solve problems calling for technical analysis

 

Ability to make independent judgments with limited information

 

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

 

Experience with NI Diadem, not required but a plus

 

Experience with Control Systems, Automotive Development, Functional Safety / Safety Critical Systems, Mechanics, Hydraulics, ISO TS16949 is valued.
