EFL TEACHER - SUMMER JOB

Job description: The Teacher is part of the Academic Team and is responsible for delivering a superior student learning experience through the delivery of classroom instruction, tutorials and student assessment as defined in the EC Teacher Standards. As part of the Academic Team, the Teacher, in collaboration with the Director of Studies, sets individual learning and development goals and actively seeks opportunities to further develop teaching practice. Key Responsibilities: • Establishes a positive learning environment for all learners, ensuring that they feel supported in their learning and able to take risks with language. • Creates lessons that are motivating and engaging with a focus on learning and progress. • Provides feedback and support that encourages the learners to develop both their language skills and their learning autonomy. • Completes all administrative duties in a timely manner. • Works on the school team and the teaching team in a professional manner. • Takes an active interest in self-development and creates and achieves development goals. • Participates in in-company and industry events and trainings and promotes and facilitates best practice through active collaboration with other EC teachers. Minimum Education Required: 

• TEFL Certificate 
• ‘A’ Level Certificate in English / IB Certificate / TELT Certificate 
• Valid ELT Permit Education Desired
• CELTA, DELTA, M.A. in TESOL or Linguistics 
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Experience studying or working abroad
