English Speaking Playschool of Oulu is looking for PRE-PRIMARY TEACHER and an EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION TEACHERs.
We are a bilingual daycare and preschool in Northern Finland https://www.englishplayschool.net/. We work with children between the ages of 3 and 7 and the majority of our children go on to study at the local international school where they receive their instruction in English. We follow the guidance of the Finnish National Curriculum as well as our own individual curriculum which is focused on the inclusion of English throughout our teaching.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful teacher to join our lovely team. This is a full-time position (38hr 20min per week) and will start with a one year contract which can be reviewed and extended. The salary for this position would be starting from approx. 2,300€ per month depending on experience and qualifications.
The ideal English speaking applicant should have a good command of English language and experience of teaching English as a foreign language and MUST have a University level, Early Years qualification as a classroom teacher (BEd, BA or PGCE all with Qualified Teacher Status, QTS) and have knowledge of the foundation stage curriculum.
