Design Estimator

  • Transition projects in our timber frame portfolio from initial tender to project handover to the design team
  • Prepare detailed quotations in line with customer needs with the confidence to propose alternative solutions
  • Ensure all designs have been risk assessed, value engineered, and meet building regulations.
  • Have relevant industry experience and a passion for innovation, quality and cost efficiency.

This role is based full time in our design office in Arklow, Co Wicklow, and we offer an excellent pay and benefits package for the right candidate.

Job requirements
  • Relevant Experience and/or qualification(s)
  • Detailed knowledge of Irish building regulations
  • Ability to prepared detailed quotations based on tender packages
  • Ability to assess project risks (design risk/buildability) and opportunities
  • Understanding of value engineering and ability to propose alternative construction solutions that support efficient use of resources
