Job offer description
Your tasks:
- Ensure VRT (Variation Reduction Team) activities and objectives are fulfilled, according internal process chain and customer driven processes
- Ensure TGW, warranty, right first time by applying the appropriate product development tool kit e.g.DFMEA, PFMEA, Six Sigma, APQP, SREA, Support plans, AIMS etc. etc.)
- Apply quality tools (6-sigma, 8D and form-4 philosophy) to resolve customer concerns / projects
- Identify potential VRT reduction projects and drive quality, cost and timing objectives from concept into production + 90days
- Maintain and improve supplier league table performance in alignment with the VRT team to assure all objectives internal and external at the customer and supplier are met
- Warranty – experience of warranty negotiation AWS/PAWS with customer. Able to present risks and opportunities to management for concurrence and financial approval
- Warranty – conduct returns analysis with customer & maintain customer portals, ensuring DRX performance is to customer targets
- Monitor warranty spend debit notes in system
- Support APQP activities within quality with the project team
- Appropriate reporting and documentation of activities, challenges and relevant quality data
Job requirements
Your profile:
- Technical Engineering diploma or equiv (desirable)
- Six sigma green belt certified (desirable)
- Statistical knowledge (preferably mini-tab)
- Experience in the automotive sector, preferably vehicle interiors
- Experience in quality assurance
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in dealing with customers and suppliers
- Good use of IT tools (e.g. microsoft word, powerpoint, excel) to enable report feedback to all management levels
- Ability to speak German an advantage but not essential
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 (VDA6.3 desirable)
