Job offer description
- Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
- Assist in the daily preparation of food items when necessary
- Manage food quality and presentation
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
- Cooperate with the rest of the kitchen team as well as the service team and the rest hotel departments
- Follow instructions of the supervisor
Job requirements
- Diploma from a culinary school
- 2+ years of experience in a relevant position within a luxury hotel or resort
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
- Knowledge of all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good communication skills
