CONCIERGE (m/f)

A concierge is responsible for the well-being of guests. He/she takes care of guests before arrival, during their stay and when a guest leaves the hotel. He/she responds to special wishes such as organising transfer, making restaurant reservations, and providing help to the guests with organising their planned activities. He/she can create unforgettable guest experiences.

Join to the LifeClass team as CONCIERGE (m/f), whose responsibility will include:

• Daily check of reservations and other activities at the reception, and distribution of porters' work;

• Continuous interest and inquiring about events in the region, monitoring the news in a wider range of tourist services, searching for social events and performances;

• Taking care of the well-being of guests during their stay at the hotel;

• Addressing guests, receiving and directing guests to their accommodation and to other rooms, or to a particular person;

• Organising events, trips or other ways of spending time for hotel guests in the immediate or surrounding area;

• Organising transportation, booking events and providing tickets, making sure other wishes and needs of the guests are fulfilled;

• Providing guests with promotional and information materials, providing tourist information, offering and accepting reservations for hotel services (restaurants, wellness, etc.);

• Monitoring the movement of guests and taking care of the reception of VIP guests and guests with special needs (requirements regarding food, allergies, comfort, etc.);

• Making sure contact is maintained with new and loyal hotel guests, keeping records of hotel guests;

• Providing and disclosing data, documentation, reports and records to the relevant departments or authorized persons;

• If necessary, providing cash transactions and other monetary exchange transactions;

• Assistance in preparing the offer, introducing standards, and new services and processes.

Conditions for obtaining the position:

• at least upper secondary vocational education in tourism studies or similar,

• basic knowledge of the Slovenian language and or. good conversational and written knowledge of English

• good conversational knowledge of Italian, and German,

! conversational knowledge of lanuagegs will be assesed according to the language test

• work experience in a comparable position (desirable international experience in hotels or higher category hotels),

• organisational skills,

• developed written and oral communication skills, organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage and resolve conflict situations,

• service and sales orientation,

• knowledge of working with a computer.
