Your Experience for the Role
- A love of food and a desire to learn more
- A good understanding of food preparation method
- Experience in a restaurant kitchen or similar environment
- Catering qualification preferable
The Main Duties
- To prepare foods as instructed by the Head Chef in accordance with our Company standards.
- To assist with the preparation and service of all meals and service required as instructed, and uphold the company’s standard to the client’s satisfaction.
- Make sure that food is ready to be served by specified service times, according to menu specification, correct portion control and the correct garnish.
Your Responsibilities
- Safe food preparation and service
- Working effectively within a creative team
- Checking deliveries and assisting with stock take as required
- Ensuring displays and counters are to standard set by your manager
