Starhotels is looking, to insert with a seasonal contract, for a Chef de Rang, to join the F&B team in the following locations:

  • Milan
  • Rome
  • Vicenza

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that their section is set up and ready for service to begin
  • Taking note of any special requests their customers may have, such as food intolerances
  • Training the commis waiters so that they can perform to the high standards expected
  • Dealing with any complaints or queries the customers may have
  • Liaising with the head waiter to ensure the whole dining room flows as it should
Job requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Restaurant set-up
  • Knowledge of safety and hygiene regulations
  • Good knowledge of room service rules and order management
  • At least 2 years of experience in the same role
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Organizational skills and punctuality
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and improve new skills
  • Problem solving capabilities



Language requirements:

  • Italian - mother tongue or fluent
  • English - fluent
