Job offer description
Starhotels is looking, to insert with a seasonal contract, for a Chef de Rang, to join the F&B team in the following locations:
- Milan
- Rome
- Vicenza
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that their section is set up and ready for service to begin
- Taking note of any special requests their customers may have, such as food intolerances
- Training the commis waiters so that they can perform to the high standards expected
- Dealing with any complaints or queries the customers may have
- Liaising with the head waiter to ensure the whole dining room flows as it should
Job requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Restaurant set-up
- Knowledge of safety and hygiene regulations
- Good knowledge of room service rules and order management
- At least 2 years of experience in the same role
- Ability to work in a team
- Organizational skills and punctuality
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Willingness to learn and improve new skills
- Problem solving capabilities
Language requirements:
- Italian - mother tongue or fluent
- English - fluent
