Due to our business expanding, we currently have an opportunity for a hardworking and self-motivated individual to join our Food & Beverage team as a Chef de partie.

The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, be reliable, a good communicator, a team player and have a passion to work in the hospitality industry.

 

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • To ensure all Mis en Place is in place for service
  • To assist the Dept Managers so that the kitchen operations run smoothly, working together with the service teams
  • To assist in the supervision and training of junior members of staff
  • To assist in the ordering of food items when necessary
  • To ensure all food leaves the kitchen in safe sound manner
  • To adhere to our HACCP system.
  • To work as a team

Essential Requirements

  • available to work weekdays and weekends
  • Must perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to maintain good interdepartmental relations
