As part of a newly developing audio and acoustic research and development team, you will be finding new ways to use the art of signal processing to improve audio quality in consumer products. 



Qualifications: 

-    Good understanding of the design and implementation of IIR and FIR filtering techniques

-    Good understanding of echo cancellation methods

-    Experience with the design and application of adaptive filters

-    Familiarity with system identification methods

-    Experience with the design of dynamic range control algorithms

-    Experience with acoustic echo cancellation

-    Experience with Weiner noise suppression filtering

-    Experience in fixed point and floating point DSP programming, acoustics engineering, psycho-acoustics, and/or recording arts would beneficial

-    Fluent written and spoken English 

-    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Master’s preferred



Responsibilities: 

-    Develop algorithms for physical system modeling, system identification, and model inverting together with the relevant project team

-    Develop algorithms for speech processing, including noise suppression, echo cancellation and multi-microphone beamforming together with the relevant project team

-    Adapt, refine, and debug algorithms onto target platforms; target platforms may include general purpose ARM processors, or embedded custom fixed-point processors
