In KWS Berlin we are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f) for our Global Transaction Center as part of our ONEGLOBE initiative.

He/She will be responsible for the execution of transactional tasks regarding Invoice & Travel Expense receiving, verification, (re)posting,

payments and soft-closing with high efficiency, and in compliance with the KWS rules, guidelines and procedures. This job will be unlimited and in full-time.

Your tasks:

  • Ensures delivery of transactional account payable services in accordance with the defined Service-Level-Agreements
  • Proactively identifies service delivery issues and takes appropriate action, undertakes performance improvement initiatives and use of best practice
  • Processes the received Digital and Non-digital incoming documents in a timely and accurate manner and initiates payments of received invoices/expenses
  • Processes of advanced/ partial payments
  • Processes and follows-up on dunning letters
  • Tracks invoice and travel expense changes
  • Assesses regarding global tax issues, processes closing controls
  • Performs reconciliation of vendor statements and solves discrepancies

Your profile:

  • Preferably academic degree in Business Administration
  • Preferably 2 or more years of experience in the field of Accounting
  • Experience working in a Shared Service organization, preferably Account Payables
  • Experience with SAP
  • Fluent in English as well as Dutch (written and spoken)
  • Fluent in German is a nice to have
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage high volume transactions
  • Communication skills
  • Analytical skills and a hands on mentality
  • Customer orientation and extraordinary service attitude
  • Cooperative and team-working mindset
