About the organisation
Launched in 2007 as the first lifestyle hotel on the North Sea coast, the StrandGut Resort is constantly reinventing itself. Its location right next to the pier in St. Peter-Ording and its view of the dune landscape invite guests to relax and unwind—whether families, couples, sports fans, or dog lovers, everyone can enjoy themselves freely between the North Sea waves and beach dunes. Our functional and modern design concept with lots of bright colors creates a relaxed feel-good atmosphere: authentic, fresh, and modern. This is reflected not only in the design of our 98 rooms and suites, but also in our culinary concept. The diverse cuisine of our Deichkind restaurant, with its sustainable and regional focus, spoils guests with first-class meat, freshly caught fish, and crispy fare for vegetarians and vegans. In the immediate vicinity and with its own hotel access is the Dünen-Therme, which promises over 6,500 square meters of wellness, sauna, and bathing fun for young and old. We complement the Dünen-Therme with our restaurant rêst, which is centrally located between the sauna and swimming pool areas, with a direct view of the salt marshes and sandy beach. In addition to various concerts, readings, and shows, the StrandGut Resort also regularly hosts fasting weeks and yoga retreats, and four event rooms are available for conferences and celebrations.
