About the organisation
AICURA medical has developed an edge computing platform that enables the seamless implementation of AI algorithms into clinical workflows and makes anonymized medical data in hospitals available to researchers and AI developers. The platform consists of the AICURA Portal, the AICURA Appliance and proprietary software, which enables automated data preparation and homogenization, as well as algorithm development through federated learning. Central features of the platform are the local integration of the appliance into the hospital IT-infrastructure and the federated learning approach, allowing for a data privacy preserving use of medical data, since the data is hosted within the hospital instead of a third party cloud. To ensure data quality, we automated data harmonization and quality assurance. Functionalities can be customized according to the use case of interest ranging from business intelligence solutions to clinical support systems.
