About the position

The position is located at our office in Aarhus and falls under Systematics’ Renewables and Utilities area. In the position of Senior Software Engineer, you will join a programme with approx. 19 highly skilled colleagues, working in close collaboration to ensure high-quality products for Systematics’ customers. You will work with our new and high demand product, SITE. SITE is a coherent and easy-to-use ‘software as a service’ that ensures process efficiency and delivers the data needed to optimize offshore wind operations - in construction as well as the operations and maintenance phase. Responsibilities and tasks

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be leading complex development tasks and act as a sparring partner for the more junior developers in the team both in Denmark and in Ukraine.

Your daily tasks will involve:

  • Make sure that the developers on the team deliver in high quality following the processes
  • Improve performance and stability of backends and web frontends
  • Discuss the technical solutions with the architect and the developers
  • Breaking down the features into smaller tasks and ensuring valid estimates on all tasks
  • Development of the product

Our ideal candidate

  • Holds an MSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent and have 2+3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Has experience with profiling and optimizing Java applications, Relational databases, and optimization in cloud solutions
  • Has good people skills, you are working in a structured approach, and have patience in sharing knowledge.
  • Has an interest in learning and ensuring established processes are followed and are proactive and decisive personality traits.

Minimum qualifications

  • As a minimum, you hold a BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent and have 3-5 years of experience as a Developer
  • You have experience with Java, Wildfly, Keycloak, Angular, SQL Server, MySQL, Azure
  • You have good communication skills
  • You are fluent in English and thrive in an international working environment.

Practical information

  • Travel is very limited, but we expect you to be open for a few days of travel to our colleagues at our Ukraine office on a yearly basis
