System Engineer - PT

A company in the railway and tramway sector is looking for 1 System Engineer. He/she will be responsible for preparing the System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) and managing system interfaces, analyzing technical proposals from suppliers, and preparing documentation for onboard integration. The role involves managing design reviews with suppliers and internal teams, preparing specifications for functional tests (FRS/FTS), and participating in stand-alone type tests. The role also includes supporting integration, reviewing documentation with clients and suppliers, and preparing documentation for vehicle approval. 

• Preparation of System Requirements Specifications (SyRS).
• Interface Management – Definition and management of system interfaces (both internal and external) throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Analysis and assessment of technical proposals provided by suppliers.
• Preparation and verification of system documentation, including drawings for onboard installation and integration.
• Management of design reviews with suppliers and conduction of internal design reviews for the assigned onboard systems, under the supervision of Project Engineers.
• Preparation of Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) and Functional Test Specifications (FTS), including performance tests for the assigned onboard systems.
• Participation in stand-alone type tests and review of type test reports.
• Support during onboard integration and performance tests.
• Review of design documentation with customers and suppliers.
• Preparation of required documentation for vehicle approval, supporting the homologation phase.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering, or Transport Engineering, or equivalent title is required.
• English and Italian language at least B1 level
• Advanced skills in using  "Office" suite and design software (CAD or similar)
