Job description
We are in dire need of a sushi chef or chef in japanese cuisine to join our team to prepare delicious plates for our guests this coming summer. This job responsibility includes handling a wide range of raw fish and other ingredients, managing food stocks, and working with attention to detail to fulfill all orders within quality standards. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with sushi and be available to work during our opening hours.
Skills requirements:
The candidate must have work experience as a sushi chef or chef at an Asian restaurant and have a good knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques. Can work both fast and accurately, availability to work during business hours, including weekends and evenings, and most importantly, must have a good team spirit.
Type of work contract: Seasonal 6 months,
Period of work: from the end of April till October
Working hours 7.5 hours / day – 40 hours/week - week days and weekends
Salary NOK 185.- / pr hour (gross)
Other information: Possibility for using a guest room at the restaurant manager’s house in Bærum if it’s difficult to find accomodation
