Supplier Quality Engineer

Contract Type: Full Time

Category: (Mechanical) Engineering

Requirements:

- Higher Education in Engineering;

- Minimum 3 years experience  in the automotive industry;

- Knowledge of Quality Tools (8D, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA);

- Great knowledge in one of the following processes (injection, casting, stamping, painting);

- Knowledge of international quality standards, including IATF 16949, VDA and customer-specific services;

- Experience in Suppliers' Audits;

- Team Players and good interpersonal relationships;

- High capacity for communication and negotiation;

- Fluent in English (spoken and written);

Responsabilities and taks:

- Implement and audit Suppliers;

-Interact with other departments, namely the Costumer Quality and Process Engineering Departments;

-Plan, implement and ensure preventive quality;

-Provide continuous improvement in Supplier Performance;

- Manage complaints to Suppliers;

- Manage previous cases of suppliers (risk cases, launch support, visits, crisis management and implementation of action plans);

-Support the APQP process for new components;

-Approval of new components.
