Do you want to be part of developing an exciting department working with data analytics and visualisation and at the same time get insights into finance and business ethics audits in a large, complex and successful organisation? Then this is your chance.
Data analytics is a key element in the future audit and compliance setup in leading pharma companies – also in Novo Nordisk. We need an ambitious student assistant who has an analytical mind-set combined with good audit/accounting understanding, to get even further.
About the department
Assurance Intelligence is a team of five employees in Novo Nordisk’s Group Internal Audit department. We have a high growth and development potential, focusing on using data in an intelligent way to increase our assurance level even further by proactively identifying indications of fraud and compliance violations.
Group Internal Audit is a department consisting of 23 people representing eight different nationalities. We are responsible for providing assurance to senior management and the Audit Committee on compliance with IT, Finance and Business Ethics requirements. Our team consists of a variety of backgrounds, working in a dynamic, ambitious and informal environment.
The job
We offer an exciting and challenging job that will provide you with an inside perspective into a number of Novo Nordisk’s business processes. You will handle interesting assignments and projects that relate to development and operation data analytics for our auditors and our ongoing monitoring processes.
You will gain knowledge of key financial and compliance related processes and you will get deep insights into audit and risk processes. You will gain understanding of IT systems such as SAP, Concur and QlikView. The job will also include some interaction with our colleagues in India.
The position is based at our headquarters in Bagsværd (Denmark) and on average we expect you to work 15-18 hours a week.
Qualifications
We expect that you are in the initial phase of your M.Sc. within the field of accounting, auditing or similar. You have knowledge of audit and risk methodologies and have an analytical mind-set and IT flair.
You need to be able to challenge existing processes and be innovative in order to come up with new ideas how to use existing data for audit purpose. Other key personal qualifications include a high level of energy, good sense of humour and the ability to stay focused while working under pressure. You are fluent in written and spoken English.
