DESY

DESY is one of the world’s leading research centres for photon science,

particle and astroparticle physics as well as accelerator physics.

The group IPP helps project groups in the optimization and automation of

business processes and operates central information systems to support the

processes in plant construction and operation, and in the campus

management. To expand our Business Process Management - (BPM) system,

we are looking for a software developer (f/m) for the development of web

services and workflows.

The position

Development and deployment of web services and workflows in our BPM suite

Creating and tuning of technical concepts and technical specifications together with the involved groups

Design of user interfaces and writing user documentations

Requirements

Degree in computer science or economic computer science

Very good knowledge in development with Java EE, current web technologies and relational databases, as well as familiarity with graphical

modeling languages (BPMN, UML)

Experience with distributed architectures and workflow development in BPM systems are beneficial

Good conceptual skills and a high willingness to communicate
