Shop Assistant
Mall of Norway is a family run company and consists of 6 shops. We are situated in the midst of Fjord-Norway. With thousands of cruise and bus tourists from all over the world arriving for a few hours or days, this makes the little village of Flåm a very busy and an international area for a few summer months.
Information about the position: Shop Assistant
What you will do:
- Work at the cash register.
- Assist customers.
- Clean and maintain the shop presentable.
- Price products.
- Display products in the shop (shelves, racks, hangers, etc.)
- Restock.
- Check deliveries.
What we are looking for:
- Good level of English.
- Other languages are very useful such as Spanish, German, Chinese, etc.
- Great communication and service skills.
- Polite, clean, positive and driven.
- Prior experience of shop work is desirable.
Applicants must be available for a minimum of 4 months’ period.
We prefer non-smokers.
Salary: Starting from NOK 30.000 before tax.
Where you will live:
We offer staff house for our team members. The rent will be deducted from your salary.
We provide bed sheets, towels and a bicycle (and helmet). The staff house is located about 3 km from the shops.
Rent is NOK 2900,- pr month for a shared room and NOK 3500,- for a single room. Internet and electricity are included.
