OVERVIEW
Due to our continued development and expansion, Duggan Brothers currently require a Senior Site Engineer to strengthen and enhance our team. The role will be based in Dublin. KEY POINTS
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining site records
• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities, reading drawings and communicating information to the team
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect
• Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications.
• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Ordering materials for site activities
• Carry out site safety checks
• Management and co-ordination of health and safety matters on site
• Quality management and BCAR co-ordination
Requirements:
• Strong experience as a Site Engineer with either a Developer and/or Main Contractor
• Knowledge of construction procedures and methods
• Building and structural project experience with main contractors
• Strong setting out experience- e.g. AutoCad, Total Station, GPS etc
• Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Procedures
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
• Use of GPS and have knowledge of surveying
• Accuracy, attentive to detail, and a methodical nature
