Senior .NET developer

CTRL’s client is Folkefinans. Folkefinans AS is a Norwegian private limited liability company operating under a Norwegian license as a credit and finance company. The license was given by the Norwegian Ministry of Finance on 13. September 2007 and Folkefinans AS is under home state supervision of the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority. Folkefinans's vision is to be the leading company for non-secured consumer credits and other everyday financial products in all our geographical markets. Folkefinans has received approval from the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority and the local Financial Supervisory Authorities in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Estonia to operate branches and provide cross border services (Denmark). Folkefinans’s strategy is to serve common, but unmet needs in new ways through innovation, low costs and high efficiency. We shall provide standardized products and services to large customer segments based on a clear fixed price policy. We are looking for Senior .NET developer!

About the team

We are Software development team in the Norwegian financial company Folkefinans. Right now we are expanding our operations and looking for a (Senior) .NET Developer. We have a small distributed .NET development team where team members have freedom to make decisions and influence product development in order to gain the best outcome. We work in close cooperation with business and other development teams and prefer commons sense over strictly defined process. You are expected to be independent enough to make decisions and take responsibility for them.

Work responsibilities

• Responsible for software development of business and technical solutions for Folkefinans according to business criteria/company requirement.
• Responsible for maintenance of existing software and database systems.
• Review all aspects of system design and architecture to recommend improvements for system operation.

Skills & Requirements

• 3+ years of software development
• Experience in .NET Framework (WCF, NHibernate, ASP.NET, Web API etc.)
• Excellent English communication skills
• Experience in test methodologies and frameworks (Moq, MSTest)

Bonus skills

• Experience in Cloud platforms (AWS)
• Messaging and queuing experience
• Experience in continuous integration/test automation
