We are looking for Shipyard Workers:
- Spray Painters for marine industry in Denmark
Scan Con offers jobs at the Shipyards on Reparation and New Build Departments.
Key tasks:
- Paint and coatings to surfaces using spray equipment, ensuring a smooth and uniform finish
- Prepare surfaces for painting, mix and match paint colors, and use various techniques to achieve desired results
- Surface Preparation: includes cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces to ensure a good paint bond and smooth finish
- Spray Application: involves using spray guns and other equipment to apply paint evenly and accurately, ensuring a smooth finish
- Spray painters inspect their work to ensure it meets quality standards and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining spray equipment and paint booths
- Spray painters must follow strict health and safety guidelines when handling paints and solvents
Skills:
- English - must be able to communicate in English
- Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety
- Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
- Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
Experience:
- Experience from shipyards
- Education or professional experience in a given position
