We are looking for:
- Ship Mechanics
for marine industry in Denmark
Scan Con offers jobs at the Shipyards on Reparation and New Build Departments.
Key tasks:
- Install, repair, modify, or maintain diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, electrical and electronics systems, and marine powertrains
- Carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing of boats and other marine vessels
- Replace or repair parts, using hand tools and power tools, including hoists, jacks, wrenches, and screwdrivers
- Diagnose mechanical problems with electrical and electronic components, using electrical test equipment
- Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, or mechanical devices
Skills:
- English - must be able to communicate in English
- Knowledge of engine systems
- Knowledge of boat systems and components
- Knowledge of mechanical principles and their application to marine systems
- Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety
- Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
- Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
Experience:
- Experience from shipyards
- Education or professional experience in a given position
