Receptionist (m/f)

• Perform reception and cashier tasks (registering bills and handing them over upon departure)
• Receiving guests and providing information, taking reservations
• Handling reservations, registering hotel bills and handing them over upon departure
• Keeping records of received payments and reconciling them with the received cash
• Keeping the reception area tidy
• Responsibility for the proper presentation of the overall offer of the company and the town
• Ensuring that the reception area is adequately equipped with brochures, price lists, special offers, event programmes, and the offer in the surrounding area
• Accepting special requests from guests and taking appropriate action
• Resolving guest complaints and forwarding them to the reception manager
• Carrying out other tasks and duties within the area of work in accordance with job competencies, instructions or as assigned by the supervisor

• Minimum level 5 qualification in hotel management, tourism or other relevant discipline
• At least 1 year of work experience, preferably in reception work
• Proficiency in 1 foreign language (English, German or Italian ) and basic knowledge of 2 foreign languages
• Computer skills: MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Responsibility, reliability and accuracy
• Organisational skills, self-initiative, flexibility
• Ability to work in a team
• Experience and enjoyment of working with people
