Receptionist
Hotel Receptionists undertake a range of activities in a typical working day, and their duties include the following :
- Welcoming guests and checking their details against their bookings
- Allocating guests their rooms and providing keys
- Answering phones from prospective customers and guests, taking messages and delivering them
- Completing administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying
- Responding to requests for help and information
- Providing concierge services, such as providing information about local amenities and attractions
- Preparing room bills and ensuring prompt payments
- Checking guests out and taking payments
Very good knowledge of English. German or French knowlegde would be an asset too.
Work experience would be an asset.
A Receptionist shall be kind, smily, have patience and takt as well as be well organised even when working under pressure. "Alexandros" software knowledge would be an asset, if not would be ok too as a training by our Reception Supervisor will be given to all aspects of Front Office operations.
