Project Manager, High-End R&D Projects

You will be part of a global organisation which is world leading in developing and manufacturing heating control systems. You will join a team of project managers located in Denmark.

Be part of an expanding R&D with investment in innovation Location will be in Vejle with reference to the Head of Project Management, and you will be responsible for defining and realising the business impact of your projects. De facto, you will be and act as the manager of your projects, and you will be part of a department in Danfoss that right now expands investments in research and development. You will be working cross-functionally and globally in close collaboration with suppliers, customers and internal functions such as sales, procurement, quality and production. The job involves high complexity and communication with many stakeholders and entails approx.15-30 travelling days per year.

Hone your professional and personal skills In this department with evolution and high-end products, your key responsibilities will be: •Leading and managing strategic product development projects from concept to running production and market introduction •Managing the project according to Danfoss Product Development Program (PDP) processes •Ensuring time, cost and quality management according to the business case •Communicating clearly and consistently with stakeholders to secure awareness and transparency •Drive and lead other types of projects, i.e. product adaptions and cost down activities

Experienced project manager with ambitions and software background You hold a university degree or equivalent within software development. Furthermore, you have some experience with product development and project management tools such as Agile and SCRUM. You have an excellent understanding of all common project management disciplines, including business case generation, project finances, product life cycle and requirement management. To be successful in this position, you are both persistent and result-oriented with a positive and open-minded attitude. You understand the importance of motivating through situational leadership and acting proactively to ensure that everybody is working towards a common goal. You work well in a dynamic, playful environment and are both willing and able to mediate between differing stakeholder demands. An interest for heating and indoor climate systems is a plus, but not a must. Finally, you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
