Product Owner (Copenhagen)

As Autobutler’s Product Owner you’ll have the possibility to set your mark on the present and the future of our business. Your primary responsibility will be 1) to define our product requirements via gathering of knowledge/needs from a range of stakeholders internally and externally and 2) ensure execution of the development projects in close cooperation with the CTO. You’ll be in charge of defining and running the short, medium and long term projects for our product roadmap, and make business cases which justify these. You’ll be accountable for defining objectives for and measuring benefits of our prioritised initiatives, and you should always stay on top of communicating project progress to the senior management and relevant stakeholders.



With reference to the COO, your tasks will be to;

•In coordination with key stakeholders (CTO, COO and CEO), define the product roadmap towards both our car-owners and garages so maximize the business value being delivered from Autobutler

•Be responsible to drive high conversion rate on our car-owner product, and ensure that as many workshops as possible are using the product

•Ensure that the roadmap for our products are well communicated and understood, and is broken down into projects that can be delivered by the development team

•Continuously engage the customer and stakeholders to ensure the Team is building the right product

•Make sure that projects are delivered on time and live up to pre-defined requirements, i.e., with the functionality and user experience identified

•Make day-to-day decisions on functionality / user experience together with our UX and Design responsible, basing those decisions on knowledge of the business area, customer and empirical evidence



The ideal Candidate:

•Has a minimum of 4 years experience from a similar role in the online industry

•Has an extremely product oriented mind-set, and can quickly understand what the users are asking for and how to build a product accordingly

•Flexible, i.e., don’t have a problem managing multiple projects and processes and working intense hours when needed

•Development skills is not a requirement

•Have strong written communication skills to define the best message in our product



Our technical setup

•A development team of 15 people

•Rails, Postgres, Memcache, Heroku

•We are focusing on scalability, performance-optimization, and boy scout coding

•The current team of developers are young, highly skilled and eager to learn

•Workplace at our HQ in Copenhagen, and some traveling to our Berlin office would be required
