Job description

• You will develop capable laser welding processes so that they meet the highest quality requirements. Furthermore, you will be responsible for process availability in series production.
• You are responsible for the welding processes within a SE team. In doing so, you ensure the quality of the process development throughout the entire product development process and you support the production of limit samples, the analysis of results and the elaboration of process FMEAs.
• You transfer the know-how gained in this process to the responsible manufacturing areas in a sustainable manner. You will also be involved in the preparation of specifications and design discussions for the ordering of machines (MAE), thus creating the basis for robust series production.

Qualifications

• Education: successfully completed engineering studies with focus on mechanical engineering or plastics technology
• Personality: high level of commitment, strong communication skills and very good comprehension and assertiveness
• Working style: independent, analytical and responsible way of working
• Experience and know-how: first professional experience in the field of laser welding
• Language: good German (at least B2) and English language skills, written and spoken
