Do you have the skills to take our IT portfolio management capabilities to the next level? And do you want to build and maintain a prioritized project portfolio that merges business priorities with IT strategy and architecture?

Join a division that supports the entire GN Group

You will join our Project Management Organization (PMO) in Ballerup, part of Group IT, dedicated to securing our IT portfolio that supports the entire organization in doing what it does best: leading major technology shifts with intelligent audio solutions to make life sound better.

Our IT project portfolio supports the entire GN Group, including our 3 subsidiaries: GN Store Nord, GN Audio and GN Hearing. As such, the project portfolio spans the entire value chain, including R&D, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Service and group functions.

Define the portfolio of the future

With a central role in managing the IT portfolio, you will work with a significant budget encompassing strategic as well as operational initiatives. As such, you will have the responsibility for all processes surrounding portfolio management, resource management and related reporting.

With this unique opportunity to join an organization on a journey towards a DevOps and Agile inspired setup and influence the future of PMO and Group IT, you will:

  • Manage the entire portfolio of IT investments, securing its adherence to agreed IT strategy and regularly report to top management
  • Manage and define the IT Master Plan – the “active” set of projects in the portfolio – and communicate decision recommendations according to the IT governance model
  • Ensure that IT investments are in line with financial guidelines and balanced in terms of size and risk through change impact analysis and demand forecasting
  • Develop and manage our portfolio management framework to secure collaborative decision-making, including related processes and tools
  • Facilitate further development of resource management capabilities in Group IT

Can you listen, challenge and transform?

As such, you have excellent analytical skills to produce insights on your own; the communicative abilities to create engagement in the portfolio agenda; the structured mindset to streamline processes without getting caught up in bureaucratic redundancy; and the ability to zoom in on details when needed, while still maintaining the overall picture.

You are also expected to bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience with portfolio management and 3+ years’ experience with IT project management, preferably in a larger organization
  • A master’s degree
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills and preferably also PowerBI
  • A certification within portfolio management
