Portfolio Manager

As part of an AIFM composed of six individuals, you will manage, under the supervision of the conducting officer and senior portfolio manager, all aspects of portfolio management tasks related to the onboarding and subsequent investment management of the AIFM in Luxembourg. You will be covering both closed- and open-ended funds with a strong focus on private equity and real estate asset classes. Your role · Assisting with portfolio and investment programme management. · Supporting the senior portfolio manager in preparing, attending and contributing at Investment Committee meetings. · Being involved in the liquidity management of open-end investment vehicles. · Providing assistance with the regular follow-up of each investment. · Contributing to the production of reporting. · Working closely with the risk management and compliance teams of the AIFM for the onboarding of new funds and co-investments. · Conducting all relevant tasks as required by applicable laws and regulation, in particular the AIFM Directive. · Helping to supervise relevant tasks performed by third parties with respect to each investment. Your profile · Master's degree in Finance or Economics (or qualification deemed equivalent); a postgraduate-type qualification such as a CAIA or CFA would be an advantage. · A minimum of five years of relevant work experience as an investment manager, portfolio manager or in an investment banking division or transaction team of a Big Four. · Previous experience in private assets with an AIFM would be a major asset. · Proven experience with liquidity management would be a definite plus. · A natural ability to build a rapport with different sets of individuals and positively challenge the opinions of others · Perfect command of English required. An ability to hold work-related conversations in French would be highly valued. · Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
