Then join us in the Subsea Integrity department, which is responsible for ensuring and managing the integrity of structures, pipelines and subsea production systems as well as for inspecting, maintaining and repairing scopes to executing departments. The Subsea Integrity department is part of the Subsea Operations department, which also consists of the IRM and Pipeline In-Line Inspection departments.



The department is a part of Exploration & Production which has 700 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We explore for and produce oil and natural gas. Today, our activities are centred in the seas off Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom, and we have an ambitious growth strategy with many exciting projects in the pipeline.



You will be based at our office in Gentofte. You should, however, expect some travelling in relation to your work.



Areas of responsibility

Your main responsibility is to ensure that Exploration & Production manages the corrosion integrity on Customer & Markets transmission pipelines and elements of Exploration & Production interfield pipelines in accordance with our standards and industry best practice.



Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

•develop, maintain and update corrosion-related procedures, tools and databases

•monitor internal corrosion of pipelines, recommend in-line inspection programmes and evaluate and analyse results

•recommend pipeline maintenance programmes comprising cleaning of pigging, biocide and corrosion inhibitor treatment, establishment of sampling types and frequencies and access to probe and coupon information

•perform ad hoc integrity assessment and engineering in respect of corrosion issues on structures and SPS/SAL

•perform invoice control within area of responsibility.







Your profile

You have a degree from a recognised university or technical college, preferably within chemistry or corrosion, and some experience with pipeline corrosion and integrity management within the offshore oil and gas industry.
