About the role
We are looking for Automation Engineering Managers to join our Fill Finish Automation department. Our department delivers future-proof solutions for the final production step in Pharma production, but we are also involved in the first stages of the production lifecycle, where we use our deep process understanding to make seamless integration of control systems into the facilities. We are currently working on some of the biggest pharmaceutical investments in our history which makes the job even more exciting.
As an Automation Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the technical project management of a team consisting of several Automation Engineers. The role requires insight into the automation solutions in our projects, as well as management skills to control and prioritize tasks within a technical team of Automation Engineers and serve as an important interface to our suppliers

As our new Automation Engineering Manager, you’ll be:
- Involved in executing some of our major complex projects, setting the direction, and leading the team to success.
- Managing of stakeholders such as our customers, vendors and program participants.
- Integration and horizontal alignments in the organization taking other deliveries into consideration
- Supporting on technical discussions based on your experience with PLC and SCADA solutions for the pharma industry
- A part of our great team of 50+ engaged and skilled Automation engineers

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Engineer, technician, computer scientist or similar degree with solid experience within automation solutions, preferably within the pharma- or biotech industry
- Project or Engineering management competences with a holistic view on project execution
- Insight in SCADA/PLC solutions both developed by integrators/NNE and vendor based solutions
- Experience with some of the following control systems: SCADA: iFix/WinCC/Aveva/Ignition, PLC’s: Siemens, Allen Bradley
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements GMP and GAMP in connection with pharmaceutical production.
- You speak and write English fluently
