Naval architect (maritime engineer)

Ingeniør Compagniet is looking for Naval architect (maritime engineer)

Main tasks:

·         designing ships and boats, related components and specialist equipment, using complex engineering methods ensure the ship's design is technically sound and that it complies with safety regulations;

·         planning the whole build process of a vessel, managing everything from concept through to delivery of the final product;

·         undertaking FEM analysis;

·         Preparing 3D modells;

·         taking responsibility for the many phases of ship and equipment procurement;

Expectations:

·         Higher education BSc. Or MSc. Level – naval architect, mechanical engineer or similar areas;

·         Fluent command of English;

·         Experience in relevant area 4+;

·         Knowledge of technical specifications regarding this area;

·         Knowledge of CAD software;

·         Knowledge of FEM software;
