Lyngby-Taarbæk, 1 stilling

Lyngby / Local / Strategy-Business Development-Process Improvement / Ref.: MD-072642

If your calling is to pursue quality and excellence in everything you do, we have a position that you will find challenging and interesting.

We Offer

You will be part of a team that delivers effective, efficient, simple, user-friendly and innovative management system solutions. Maersk Drilling’s management system is called SIRIUS, and it contains processes and documents for operating the offshore drilling rigs, as well as for managing the onshore offices and headquarters.

As the management system is used internally and reviewed by external regulatory authorities and customers, it is crucial that the quality and integrity of the content is consistently high, is in compliance with the relevant requirements, changes are processed with a clear audit trail, and continual improvements are made in terms of content standardisation and IT application usability.

As part of a diverse team with a can-do attitude, you can expect ample opportunities for personal and professional development. Consistent high performance in this role will enable the person with the right potential to advance. The learning opportunities are vast where you will gain unique insight into Maersk Drilling’s business and the oil & gas industry in general.

Key Responsibilities

As a Management System Manager, you will be supporting the global Maersk Drilling organisation on all management system-related matters. This will provide you with the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of managing the management system and the processes surrounding it. You will also gain familiarity with project management, both from leading your own initiatives as well as taking part in those spearheaded by your colleagues. Your role involves driving optimisation in all aspects of the management system, and promoting a culture of quality and excellence. It is rare that two days at work are the same.

Your main tasks will be:

• Together with the various owners of the management system content, ensure accurate and timely revisions that are in accordance with international legislation and industry standards

• Manage and improve the processes that you are responsible for, and also manage the various suppliers involved

• Manage projects such as the implementation of new IT systems

• Deliver presentations and IT systems training

• Facilitate workshops and support audits

By fully understanding the end user’s needs and constructively challenging the status quo, you make a positive difference to those who depend on the management system to perform their daily work.

The position does not involve people responsibility.

Who we are looking for

You have as a minimum a bachelor’s degree. Having a background in an IT-related field, though not a pre-requisite, can be an advantage. As a person, you are meticulous, thorough, detail-oriented, careful and diligent. You work in a structured and systematic manner. By following a well-established and proven plan, you deliver results that are exacting, of high quality and precisely meet the requirements. You have good analytical reasoning and problem solving skills which lead to solutions that are carefully thought through. You are flexible in adapting as and when priorities change.

You have knowledge of or interest in learning process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. You are IT savvy, have the interest to learn new IT systems and are passionate about applying technology to support the business strategy. As you will be in a truly international working environment with stakeholders based all around the world, you must be able to communicate proficiently in English and interact with people at various organisational levels. Knowledge of Danish is not a prerequisite.
