The kitchen steward is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. He/she is responsible for washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting with general kitchen cleaning duties and waste disposal.
It is the professional figure who must ensure, in addition to the accuracy of food preparations, also the hygiene and cleanliness of environments and equipment.
