Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking applicants for the post of Health Care Assistant. We are a group of nursing homes with locations around Ireland: 

Galway, Monaghan, Castlebar, Mullingar, Edgeworthstown, Portiuncula

The main purpose of the role is:

• To work as part of a team of Health Care Assistants, under the direction of the Nursing team to provide quality person-centred care to meet the needs of residents and provide support to continue living as independently as possible with privacy and dignity
• To promote a caring environment for residents through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of the Residents of the Home
• Personal hands-on care for the residents including washing, dressing, assisting with bathroom needs and assisting with meals

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

• Previous experience or a relevant qualification are preferred 
• Must be compassionate and have great interpersonal skills
• Training will be provided for the successful candidate.
