Join the Guest Experience team at The Westin Palace Milan and support the delivery of warm, seamless, and memorable stays for our international guests. As a Guest Experience Trainee, you will assist with front‑of‑house operations—welcoming guests, managing inquiries, and ensuring every interaction reflects Westin’s signature hospitality. You will also collaborate with the Concierge team, gaining exposure to personalized guest services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with welcoming guests, providing information, and supporting check‑in and check‑out procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
- Support Concierge tasks such as recommending local attractions, coordinating restaurant bookings, arranging transportation, and providing city directions.
- Assist in organizing guest amenities, special requests, and VIP preparations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and memorable guest experience
- Education: Enrolled in or recently graduated from a hospitality, tourism, or related program.
- Languages: Good knowledge of English and Italian; additional languages are a strong plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities, with a warm and professional approach.
- Customer Service Mindset: Genuine interest in guest care, problem‑solving, and creating memorable experiences.
- Concierge Aptitude: Curiosity for the city, local culture, dining, and attractions; willingness to learn how to provide tailored recommendations and assistance.
- Teamwork: Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively with Front Office, Concierge, and other departments.
- Flexibility: Availability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
- Work Eligibility: Authorization to work in Italy.
