Front Office Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a high standard of customer management, at all times
Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests, to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
Ensure that Resort are operated safely, at all times
Undertake overnight responsibility for reception, checking guests in and out, taking reservations and dealing with all telephone enquiries
Maintain knowledge of all Resort promotions and pricing, to provide information to guests, on request
Be responsible for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as first point of contact for guests and the emergency services; be accountable for guests’ safety and comfort
Undertake additional administration duties, as requested by either the hotel manager or the pub manager
Adhere to Resort policy for reporting accidents and incidents
Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
Ensure that all Front Office stationary and stock is available and re- ordered on time.
Prepares duty rosters for the guest service hosts.
Greet guests on arrival at the hotel and conduct check-in and registration procedures.
Ensures rooms are checked prior to guests check-in to ensure they are clean, properly equipped and in a high standard of maintenance.
Implement and maintain guest recognition program.
Handle guest complaints, inquiries, and comments, log them and initiate appropriate action and follow up.
Maintain up to date files and information on tours, sightseeing and points of general interest and make the necessary bookings when requested.
Conduct inspections of the public areas of the main lobby ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance and initiating appropriate action where necessary.
Conduct resort site inspections when directed.
Upsell all resort, spa, LIFE and restaurant facilities.
Entertain guests as and when appropriate.
Assist the cashiers with guest billing procedures.
Ensure that guest check out arrangements are in order, and to bid the guests farewell.
Carry out administrative requirements as directed.
Assists in the selection, training and evaluation of guest service hosts
Coaches, counsels, disciplines and develops guest service hosts Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management
To execute the position of Front Office Supervisor, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels with proven results. I possess a minimum hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school and more than one year’s experience in a similar hotel operational role.
I am a personally involved, visible and proactive host with excellent organizational skills. I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer and I have experience and I am able to work in a cross-cultural environment positively.
Technical skills include MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. I have good knowledge of food and beverage service including kitchen skills. I have excellent knowledge of guest related functions and guest service.
I have an excellent command of written and spoken English with some knowledge of the local language and customs. I will maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses in terms of guidelines, rules and regulations, brand and operating standards, facilities and services.
