The Nokia's NI Division is recruiting highly motivated Front End Software Developers with expertise in React and JavaScript to work on FSS.
Our Team is developing an exciting new product that allows our customers to manage their networks.
What you will learn and contribute to
Our products are built using various technologies, including:
- Golang, Python
- Web application frameworks (React)
- Web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, REST)
- Microservices (Kubernetes, Helm)
- Linux
- You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment developing applications that provide Intent based datacenter solutions.
- You will be exposed to the latest technologies in telecom specifically around Virtualization and SDN.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing features and enhancements for our orchestration platfo
- Developing solutions to achieve Customer high-availability network requirements, while reaching defined scaled and performance targets.
- Collaborating with Nokia developers to jointly define network management interfaces
- Working in a team-based Agile Environment; collaborate with Developers, Testers, and Product Management to refine requirements,
- Develop, and test our Carrier grade solutions.
- Interacting with Support Teams to provide software solutions to field-reported issues.
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design
- Programming experience in REACT, Javascript, NodeJS, Angular, Python or any modern programming language
- Knowledge/experience in databases such as Mongo, Redis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge/experience with Datacenters
- Knowledge in IP networking, familiar with networking concepts and routing protocols (ie IP, TCP, VLAN)
- Prior and demonstrated experience in a Software Development role
- Familiar with UNIX or Linux
