FLC - Design Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Design Coordinator to our site in Rødbyhavn to ensure the constructability of the design throughout the entire project in all stages: Works preparation, Design and Engineering, and Execution.
Who is FLC?
Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals and ramps. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects.
Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.
Main responsibilities:
- Liaise with the TW & PW Design Team Leaders and the WP Team Leaders / Engineers in order to ensure that all TW & PW Design requirements and WP requirements are identified and incorporated into the Design.
- Ensuring compliance to the contract requirements.
- Coordinate with the PW & TW Design Team Leaders and the WP Team Leaders / Engineers to ensure that the Design developed is constructible and notifies the Design Team Leader of any issue to be solved.
- Monitor the progress according to the design time schedule of the Design packages within his / her scope of works and initiate corrective measures.
- Checking of the design packages.
- Structural design experience of reinforced concrete in-situ tunnel structures according to Danish standards and geotechnical design affinity.
- Administrative tasks in the document control database Think Project / Lead reviewer.
Key skills:
- Good knowledge in written and verbal English since the company language is English.
- Self-motivating, good time management, ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, word etc.).
- Organisational skills with the ability to work within a team.
- Self-Motivated.
Conditions of employment:
The Danish Salaried Employees Act (Funktionærloven), pension, health insurance and lunch arrangement.
