For the Hazardous Energy team in the Construction Support department within Siemens Wind Power, Offshore, we are looking for a self-driven Electrical Engineer or equivalent. If you enjoy working within a team of specialists and contribute to the development of offshore wind energy projects; then this is a job for you.
What are my responsibilities?
• Verify generic isolation points against project specific documentation
• Create non-routine Isolation Procedures (LAP)
• Approve project specific Work Packages for isolation. Must be able to provide support for the assigned project(s)
• Ensure that a Safe System of Work is in place and being implemented for work with hazardous energy sources, including but not limited to electrical installations, hot work and confined spaces
• Ensure that processes and execution of work is complying with relevant legislation and Siemens internal regulations
• Conduct reviews of process, procedures and safe systems of work for sub-contractors employed by SWP You will be working directly at our project sites and in our back office in Vejle.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• You have a background as an electrical engineer or qualified electrician, preferably combined with experience within wind turbine electrical isolations
• You possess good communication skills, both listening and asserting
• As a person, you are structured, outgoing, decisive, change oriented and proactive, and you possess a high degree of safety awareness
• You have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
