Contract Manager
We are currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join our expanding team and help to take us to the next level. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop this role to fit the ambitious growth plans of the company.
Based in our Dublin office, the successful candidate will have the overall responsibility for the delivery of an FTTH contract we have commenced. You will work closely with your team, other internal teams supporting contract delivery, the Commercial Team and SHEQ Dept to ensure that all works are delivered safely, to high quality standard, on time and within budget. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining good working relationships with your own team, other internal teams, the client, sub-contractors, and suppliers. This role will look to improve processes where possible and ensure systems and processes are in line with our internal policies and regulatory requirements for health and safety, wellbeing, environment, quality, and sustainability.
This role will suit an ambitious professional, capable of working in a dynamic environment in a client facing role with willingness to expand in line with Entegro growth plans.
Responsibilities
- Owner of contract and own team performance.
- Work with own team, sub-contractors, and other internal teams supporting delivery to ensure works are programmed efficiently and in line with overall Entegro & client delivery requirements.
- Work with own team and SHEQ department to ensure work is issued, pre-planned, delivered and closed out in line with our internal policies and regulatory requirements for health and safety, wellbeing, environment, quality and sustainability.
- Work with own team and SHEQ department to ensure Standard Operating Procedures and training modules are in place for all workstreams on the contract.
- Ensure team are tracking outputs and ensuring accurate reporting of works measures and reporting daily, weekly, monthly as needed on the contract.
- Work with own team and Commercial Team to ensure that measures and costs are captured against work packages and ensure that works are profitable. Ensure quality of work and close out of jobs is to a standard, that has WIP in line with a standard BAU life cycle.
- Ensure adequate PO cover is forecasted, requested to the client, and tracked.
- Own and deal with all aspects of contract performance with your own team, the client, and subcontractors.
- Source and onboard new Direct Labour Resource and sub-contractors as needed to meet delivery requirements.
- Ensure all workflow tools are setup correctly to closely monitor field performance and completed works. Ensure that office staff, field staff and sub-contractors are using workflow tools correctly to ensure analytics are run correctly.
- Drive continuous improvement relative to the role.
- Manage own teams’ performance and work closely them to ensure that they are being efficient and effective in their roles.
- Working with own team and Stores Team to ensure stores management system is in place, consistently efficient and stock required to meet delivery is actively managed.
- Working with own team and Group Shared Services Teams to ensure fleet and logistic requirements are communicated and actively managed.
- Achieve operational excellence and drive process improvement for all contracts.
- Responsibility for Monthly and weekly reporting for Management Review.
- Responsible for issuing required reports to the client.
Key skills and experience:
Essential
- 5+ years in a similar position
- Skilled in FttH networks across survey, design & build teams
- Expert knowledge of trunk, feeder, and distribution architectures - design & build.
- Previous experience of managing survey, design teams and subcontractors.
- Proven ability to hold full project control and governance.
- Flexible and adaptable to work challenges and open to learn and develop skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work to a high standard consistently
- Strong Commercial acumen
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- A high standard of written and spoken English.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Full drivers’ licence.
- Proficient in Microsoft software (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
